We have gotten back into the swing of things and have made it to the end of our first week back!  The students worked hard and were very focused this week!  Well done, Grade 5!  We have a number of things coming up this month…

Chilliwack Chief Tickets – It was such a treat getting Chilliwack Chief’s tickets for this Saturday’s game.  Due to the high demand, we thought it would be best to give each family enough tickets for their Highroad aged children to go along with one parent.  If additional family members want to join they can purchase a ticket at the gate for $16.  Children’s tickets are $5.  As tickets are assigned seating, you may need to find a different spot to sit if you are purchasing additional tickets.

New Bible Memory Verses start next week!

Settlers of Catan Games Needed:  If you are an owner of the board game Settlers of Catan, we are asking if we could borrow your game for our Wednesday afternoon (January 16th). We are starting a new unit about the natural resources of Canada. If we get 4-5 boards would be wonderful. Please let Mrs. Ellis (mellis@highroadacademy.com) know if you can send a game along. Report Cards – Report cards are set to go home on the same day as our Manning Park ski trip.  Our department will be handing out report card on Monday, January 28th.
