We have had a great week here in the Grade 5 classroom!  We had a lot of fun skating on Monday morning and I took some cute pictures of the kids having LOTS of fun!  We have a few things coming up so please keep reading!

Mason Jars Needed – On Tuesday we are making snowflake crystals in Science!  We are currently learning the three different ways to separate solutions – evaporation, distillation and crystallization.  I am in need of about 12 wide mouth mason jars for our project.  We will clean and return the jars once we are done using them.

Western Dress Up on Wednesday – Next Wednesday we are having a Western Dress Up Day – wear your favourite plaid shirt, vest and western hat!

Knight’s Day on Friday!

Genius Hour Supplies Needed on Fridays – Students are getting to the point in their genius hour planning that many are ready to begin their first projects next week.  Please have students bring supplies during the week next week (if they need anything from home) so they are prepared to work on their projects next Friday.
