The sun came out and shone upon us for the exact amount of time that we needed today. Our walk to the aboriginal art exhibit was dry and definitely filled my work out time for the day. The art exhibit did not disappoint and if I had remembered to bring my camera, I could have posted photos. 🙂 The students were very well-behaved and asked lots of questions about the artwork. We will have a ‘debriefing’ session tomorrow as a class. If you are interested in looking at on-line photos of the artwork, check out the following link:

Just a reminder to everyone that tomorrow we are walking to Cornerstone Christian Church to view the aboriginal art exhibit. The weatherman is calling for showers so make sure your child has rain boots or good sneakers and umbrellas. It’s also Knight Day so Highroad Knights t-shirts and hoodies are allowed. If not wearing a Knight shirt, uniform is mandatory. Looking forward to a great day, even if it is a little soggy. 🙂
On Monday we will be having Knight’s Day in support of the Senior Girl’s volleyball team. Students are able to wear their knight’s shirt, sweatshirt, or knights sweatpants (in conjuntion with Knight’s shirt) and casual bottoms. If you would like to purchase Knight’s clothing, the school store will be open every day after school until 3:45, and on Monday at 8:15am . If your child is not participating in Knight’s Day then please send them in their school uniform. Thanks!
I wanted to send out a reminder that tomorrow is the Terry Fox Run (weather permitting). We have asked students to bring a toonie or loonie in support of this important cause.
Students wrote their current events quiz this morning and will be bringing it home after school today. Please sign the quiz once you have looked it over and return it to school tomorrow.
