Weekly Update

I hope you have all had a wonderful long weekend!  Here are a few things coming up over the next couple of weeks…

Final Week to Shrink Wrap Mr. Morris! – Mr. Morris has a challenge for the Highroad community. If we can raise $5000.00 for the beautification project between Feb 1-22, he will volunteer to be shrink wrapped to the red post at the front of the school during the morning greeting time on Friday, Feb. 22. Donation cut off is this Thursday, Feb. 21 at midnight. You can donate at the school office, or online (highroadacademy.com/product/donate) to this excellent cause of seeing our Principal ‘hang around’ the morning of the 22!

Spelling Words – course, behaviour, behave, ability, stopped, belief, believe, condition, examine, examination

Lion, Witch & Wardrobe Play on Friday – On Friday afternoon from 1-3 we get to go watch the dress rehearsal of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, performed by the High school Drama Club. It is a long play and we have been informed that it might go a bit over the set timing. If you don’t see us in the classroom at the end of the day, we will be in the chapel.
