I hope you are all enjoying the weekend!  We had a great week this week!  Poetry books arrived on Monday and  our week ended with a fun trip to see Cinderella.  The next four weeks of school are looking to be very busy so read below to get more information.

Spring Sing –  We are excited for the spring sing on Monday.  The doors to the gym will be opening at 6 pm and we ask that you keep your children with you until 6:15, when they can head to the portable. Attire for Monday evening is Knight’s shirts and jeans.

Class Party –  The class has earned a party and will be having a Nerf gun party on Friday afternoon.  Please bring nerf guns/bullets and snacks to share.  Should be lots of fun!

Swimming at Cheam – On Monday, June 4th we will be swimming at Cheam Leisure Center in the afternoon.  Please return slips this week.

Final Scholastic Order – Book order forms came home last week and are due this Wednesday.  This is the final scholastic for the year.

Spelling – over the next several weeks we will be working on commonly misspelled words for grade 5 students.  Here are the first ten words:  a lot, because, does, favourite, haven’t, people,  quiet, receive, weather, whether
