Happy Thanksgiving!  I hope you are enjoying this long weekend and are able to spend some quality time with friends and family.  We had a great week last week and have a number of things coming up!

Parent Teacher Interviews on October 24th – We have changed the format of our reporting this year and will have parent teacher interviews in place of our interim reports.  This is a great opportunity to sit down with each of you and chat about your child’s progress.  I have a sign up sheet on the inside of our front door or you can email me at pgoosen@highroadacademy.com with a time that works best for you.

Cheam Wetlands Field Trip – We have an amazing intermediate field trip coming up on October 23rd.  Field trips will be coming home on Tuesday and we would love some parent volunteers.  Please ensure that your criminal record check is up to date if you would like to join us on this trip.

 Pumpkin Math Morning:  On Tuesday, October 30th we will have a fun pumpkin Math morning!  We will be measuring, estimating, weighing and getting nice and dirty with pumpkin guts!  I would love a few parent volunteers on Tuesday morning.  Please send me an email if you are available to help.  Thank you!

Chilliwack Chief Tickets:  If you would like to go to a Chilliwack Chief’s game on Saturaday, October 13th at 7pm or Sunday, October 14th at 2pm I have two tickets to each game.  Please let me know if you are interested!
