Mrs. Goosen & Mrs. Derksen

Last Week of School!!!

We are quickly approaching Christmas break…yea!  We have had a fantastic fall together and the students and teachers are all ready for a well deserved two week holiday!  Here are a few reminders for the last week of school:

Monday – Christmas concert.  Please have the students dressed in their nativity costume and at the classroom by 6:40pm.

Wednesday – final spelling test

Thursday – Classroom Party and Lunch.  In a previous blog post I had said that we would have snacks in the afternoon but I forgot that I traditionally do a class lunch before Christmas.  I have composed a list of items (below) that each student can bring on Thursday morning and we will enjoy lunch together and then a class party in the afternoon.  **Please remember to bring a $5 gift for our gift exchange**

Friday – early dismissal.  The primary Christmas concert starts at 9:30 and runs for about an hour.  The students will come back to the classroom once the concert is over and be dismissed from there.  My best guess is between 1030 & 10:45.
