Weekly Update

Two weeks left…how is that possible!  I have such mixed feelings coming into these last two weeks…part excitement and part sadness.  I have LOVED teaching your child this year, this class has been so much fun!  We have a busy last two weeks of school with a lot of things coming up.  See below for all the things going on:

Next week we will be starting to send items home.  Please feel free to send a few reusable bags with your child.

Potato Party on Monday, June 19th:  We have been caring for our potato plants all spring and next Friday we will be ready to harvest them.  What do we do with delicious school-grown potatoes?  We have a potato party, of course!!  I will be sending home a sheet next week outlining what your child should bring for the potato party on June 19th, and have also outlined it below.   You can bring it early if you’d like (especially the items that won’t spoil before then).   I would love 2-3 helpers on Monday from 12:45 – 3:00.  If you are able to help, please send me an email at pgoosen@highroadacademy.com.
