Weekly Update

it was a great week here in the Grade 5 classroom. Students have been busy working on immigration and BC resource projects, reading an amazing novel and are getting ready to write a fractured fairy tale!  This is one productive classroom!

Britannia Mine Museum on Monday!

We are looking forward to our field trip on Monday.  Please have students at school by 7:45 as we would like to leave at 8:00.  Students can wear casual clothes and should dress warmly as we will be outside for a good portion of the field trip.  Make sure students are wearing close-toed shoes and have a jacket as well.  They will need to pack a lunch with lots of snacks!  Our plan is to head to Shannon Falls before we head home.  If it’s pouring out we will come straight back and will then be home by 3:00 – if that happens I will post on the blog.
